Then we reverse engineer what we need to work on to get you to where you want to be- whether that's stronger extensions, more endurance, higher jumps, effortless pirouettes or simply feel better about yourself in your own body and have less injuries.

If you continue to turnout from your lower leg only you will eventually get injured somewhere up the chain. You must develop and train for deep core strength in order to maintain a solid foundation and build.
The beauty about Pilates is that it pairs wonderfully with any type of movement as a supportive system, but ESPECIALLY dance.
I like to think about Pilates as strengthening from the INSIDE out, and it's no secret that SO much of dance is driven by the core.

Real talk.
Trust me... I've been there and injured it all and recovered too! In fact, I'm still recovering from a back injury I had a few years ago and my pirouettes and balances are a little dicey, but you know what? I take it one day and one turn at a time. Some days my legs and back say no, and I had to learn to honor that AND support it with the right foundational core work. Half of the battle is getting the nervous system to relax and rewiring dysfunctional movement patterns to allow the body to trust the brain's commands again.
