HEY, Dancer!
Whether you're a professional or like to dance for fun, you still need cross-training.
You're no different than an athlete in the NFL or a basketball player in the NBA.
You need to actively engage your muscles to bring you leg extension to new heights, get your jumps stronger, and to effortlessly do triple pirouettes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
We have to work on fine-tuning the small muscles, the posture, the positioning- the nuts and bolts of it all in order to sustain the amount of training that you put your body through.
I like to think about Pilates as strengthening from the INSIDE out, and it's no secret that SO much of dance is driven by the core and the smaller muscles that stabilize you mid-air.

We'll take a look at your body posture-wise both dynamically and structurally and together, create a holistic plan. We may even need to look at how you are fueling your body and discuss recovery routines as well.
We look at what's working and what's not. From there, we reverse engineer what we need to work on to get you to where you want to be so you that you feel better in your body and have less injuries.
From someone who still dances and truly gets it. I will be cheering you on and cracking jokes every step (bourrée) of the way so that you don't take yourself too seriously and always remember why you're dancing in the first place.
